Velocity Auto Care (VAC), a Valvoline Instant Oil Change franchisee, has hired Josh Lieberman as vice president of real estate and development and B.J. Moore as director of construction. Their additions come at a time when the company has more than a dozen projects in or beginning construction, with a pipeline to follow.
Lieberman oversees the real estate and development team, and is responsible for driving VAC’s growth strategy as it continues to expand its shop footprint. His background includes time as senior director of new store development for Sunoco.
“Josh brings a wealth of experience in high-growth development roles,” VAC stated in announcing Lieberman’s hiring. “Having led initiatives for national gas station and convenience store brands, as well as a variety of other ventures, Josh’s expertise and leadership will be a tremendous asset to our team as we continue to expand the brand.”
Moore heads up VAC’s construction efforts — both building new shops and remodeling existing as well as acquired locations.
“B.J. has an extensive background constructing [Stripes Convenience Stores] locations throughout Texas,” VAC said of Moore’s addition. “B.J. most recently was director of construction for a restaurant brand, where he was responsible for high-volume construction projects throughout the nation.
“B.J. has quickly established great rapport with our partners at Valvoline, and he will be instrumental as we execute on our development and growth strategy.”
