Take 5 Carolinas, the first franchisee in the Take 5 Oil Change system, and ClayCon Oil, the brand’s third franchisee, have combined to form the Founders Automotive Services Team (FAST).
Charlotte-based FAST owns and operates 52 Take 5 Oil Change shops in North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana and Colorado. The combined organization bills itself as the largest Take 5 Oil Change franchisee in the United States by revenue.
“The combined company’s scale and resources will accelerate growth while sustaining the high level of service and reliability customers have come to expect,” FAST stated in an announcement dated Aug. 20. “FAST has a defined plan for near-term growth initiatives and carries a substantial pipeline of new stores in development, positioning the business for continued expansion across its markets.”
Brannan Lahoda leads FAST as president and COO. Lahoda brings more than 10 years of experience operating automotive service platforms, including leading all North American company-owned operations for Take 5 Oil Change during its initial growth phase from 65 to 650 shops.
