• Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) plans to have air-conditioning installed in every service bay by mid-2027. More than 100 shops have already been retrofitted to feature air-conditioned service bays, and all new shops south of I-70 are being built with air-conditioning included. CBA also is supporting franchisees who opt to retrofit existing shops.
• Victory Tire & Auto, a Straightaway Tire & Auto brand, has acquired Jack’s Auto Service in Grand Rapids, MI. The deal gives Victory 20 locations.
• The Central Arizona Auto Group recently opened its 20th Big O Tires location: a shop on North Vistancia Boulevard in Peoria, AZ.
• AutoVitals has announced its ability to use Reserve with Google, allowing shops to boost online visibility and simplify the customer booking experience directly through their Google business profiles.
• Carfax estimates that as many as 45,000 vehicles were damaged by flooding from mid-year storms, as heavy rains and flash flooding between April and July swamped thousands of cars in such states as Texas, Kentucky and West Virginia. This influx of flood-damaged vehicles would be in addition to as many as 482,000 water-damaged cars that Carfax data shows were already on U.S. roads at the start of 2025.
