Barberton, OH-based Pro-Gram Engineering, maker of billet main caps, has been sold. Longtime Pro-Gram employee Josh Martinez now owns the company, which has been renamed Billet Speedworks (BSW). Financial details of the transaction were not available.
Former owner Ken Anderson founded the company in 1984 and has retired. Martinez has worked there for 13 years, the last nine as head of manufacturing.
Operations will continue at the same facility with plans to introduce new automotive performance products in the near future.
“We will still be producing the same products, just with a new company name,” Martinez said. “Customers can expect the quality to remain top-notch and also look for reduced lead times in the near future as new systems are put in place to reduce wait times and build inventory.”
