Pep Boys Hires Marketing Chief

Pep Boys has hired Joe Auriemma as its chief marketing officer, responsible for leading and transforming all marketing functions of the company. His responsibilities include media and performance marketing, brand strategy and creative development, product and revenue management, digital consumer commerce platforms, and marketing analytics and data science.

Auriemma most recently was the vice president of marketing for Pfizer. His background also includes various roles with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, including vice president of category planning and analytics for the Americas as well as head of revenue management, analytics and insights for company-owned retail.

A true marketing innovator, Joe is known for building high-performing teams, harnessing the power of data analytics and leveraging marketing technology to drive business performance,” Pep Boys stated in announcing Auriemma’s addition.
