Federated Auto Parts presented the Art Fisher Memorial Award, its most prestigious honor, to Federated President Sue Godschalk at last month’s Automotive Parts Services Group annual conference and expo in Grapevine, TX.

Bob Samuels, CEO of New Jersey-based Samuels Inc., received The Pronto Network Executive of the Year award during The Group’s national conference and expo.

Greg Tackett is now aftermarket NAFTA director at Brembo. Tackett was an OE and OES sales director with the First Brands Group. His background also includes time as the Midwest sales manager for Mann+Hummel Purolator Filters.

William Henson is now a national account manager with MagnaFlow. Henson is a former Genuine Parts Company category manager, where he managed NAPA’s heating and cooling application parts and, before that, undercar parts.

Sylvia Wilks has departed TireHub, where she served as vice president of operations. She has been with the company since 2018.

Marcy Yanus has joined SEMA as a council director, serving the Automotive Restoration Market Organization (AMRO), Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) and Motorsports Parts Manufacturing Council (MPMC). Yanus is a YMCA veteran of more than 20 years, including time as vice president of operations for the YMCA of Central Ohio.

Jennifer Slater is slated to join the Valvoline Inc. board of directors as an independent director on July 1. Slater is a group vice president and general manager – global OE and products at Clarios. She brings automotive OEM and advanced vehicle market experience to the board. Meanwhile, Steve Kirk will retire from the board effective June 30. Kirk, the retired senior vice president and COO of Lubrizol, has been a director of Valvoline since 2016 and was chairman of the board from 2017 through January 2022.

Raines International — an executive search, organizational consulting and talent management advisory firm ­— has added Bryan Ignozzi as a managing director. He was a partner, leading PricewaterhouseCoopers’ automotive practice. Prior to that, Ignozzi was a managing director at KPMG and BearingPoint, where he served automotive clients. Ignozzi is now tasked with building and leading Raines’ automotive practice.

Tint World Automotive Styling Centers has named Genevieve Amabile as its project communications manager, overseeing multiple communications channels across Tint World’s operations to marketing, reporting and franchise development.

• The Auto-Wares Group of Companies has announced Joe Stewart as its 2022 Technician of the Year. Stewart — shop foreman at The Brighton Garage in Brighton, MI, an Auto Value Certified Service Center since 2021 — will represent Auto-Wares at the National Alliance Technician of the Year competition, where he will compete for the title of The Alliance 2022 Auto Value & Bumper to Bumper Technician of the Year.
