Club Assist – North America has promoted Stephen Thornton to director of Northwest Battery Service operations and field resource planning. Thornton had been a regional account manager, with responsibilities across Utah, Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
With the 2023 launch of Northwest Battery Service — a joint venture between Club Assist and AAA Oregon/Idaho — he also oversaw operations for the organization, managing customer engagement, business growth, operational leadership and field execution.
In his new role, Thornton will continue to direct operations and account management for the joint venture while taking on leadership of the service route trainer function, ensuring comprehensive training of all new service route representatives and route coverage.
