Monro Inc. has promoted Russ Welsh from regional vice president to senior vice president of retail operations – north division. The promotion is effective immediately and follows the departure of Dan Tripoli.
Welsh is now responsible for developing and executing Monro’s retail operations strategy and long-range implementation plan. He serves on Monro’s senior leadership team, reporting directly to President and CEO Mike Broderick.
Welsh joined Monro as a senior market manager in 2014 and held that role until 2015 when he was promoted to tire division zone manager. In 2016, he became senior zone manager, covering New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Missouri. In 2019, Welsh moved into the zone manager role overseeing nine states in the Mid-Atlantic and Upper Midwest. The company promoted him to regional vice president in September 2022.
