Millwood, NY-based Mavis Tire Express Services Corp. has reached an agreement to acquire Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Centers, adding 165 service centers across the Midwest, South and Southeast. The combined company would have more than 1,200 shops across 35 states.
Tuffy would remain headquartered in Toledo, OH, and its more than 140 franchised shops would continue to be owned and operated by their respective franchisees. Tuffy CEO and President Roger Hill would join the leadership team of the combined company.
