Lithia Motors (Medford, OR) reported $838.00 million in service, body and parts revenue for the third quarter of 2023 — an increase of 17.7% compared to a year ago, reflecting acquisitions as well as a rise in customer-pay revenue. On a same-store basis, service, body and parts revenue grew 4.3% to $720.80 million, with customer-pay up 3.0%.
Service, body and parts gross profit rose 20.5% to $462.80 million, and gross margin increased 120 basis points to 55.2%. On a same-store basis, service, body and parts gross profit grew 6.6% year over year, primarily attributable to increased customer-pay transactions.
