Changes Coming To Valvoline Board

Nov 23, 2025

Janet Wong and Chris Carr have been nominated for election to the Valvoline Inc. board of directors at the 2026 annual shareholders meeting. They would succeed longtime directors Mary Twinem and Vada Manager, who are retiring from the board.

Twinem and Manager have served on the board since Valvoline’s IPO in 2016.

Wong spent the majority of her career as a senior partner at KPMG. She brings expertise in financial accounting, internal controls, risk management, cybersecurity and AI oversight, and mergers and acquisitions strategic planning.

Carr was the COO of Sweetgreen, a fast-casual restaurant chain. He also has held retail and supply chain leadership roles with Starbucks.

According to Valvoline, Twinem’s and Manager’s retirements from the board did not result from any disagreement with the company.
